Privacy Policy

We try to collect as little as possible. We do not sell your data. We do not run ad networks. The rest of this page explains the details — but those three lines are the spirit.

Account data — your name, email, and password (hashed). Optional: phone for price-drop SMS.

Activity data — pages you view and searches you run, used to rank popular models and improve relevance.

Device data — IP address, browser, and OS, used for security and fraud detection.

To run the service: serve you prices, send price-drop alerts you opted into, secure your account, and improve search ranking. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

We share data only with: (a) infrastructure providers who host the service under strict contracts (cloud, email delivery, error tracking); and (b) law enforcement when legally required, with the narrowest possible scope.

We never sell your data to anyone.

Account data — until you delete your account. Activity data — 18 months, then aggregated. Logs — 30 days. You can request deletion at any time and we will honour it within 7 days.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from Settings → Privacy. You can also email privacy@comparerabbit.in and we will help.

CompareRabbit is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

We will email you before any material change. Trivial edits (typos, clarifications) we will just publish with an updated date at the top.
